WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev. D. C. Bates) telegraphed' this afternoon as follows: Indications are for northerly wind veering by west to south after <56 hours. A' storm area appears to he approaching, from the west. The weather will prove, very boisterous. Heavy rains to be expected, with rivers flooded. Rain probable after 10 hours.
