Instead of concentrating on Adrianople, the Porte has resolved on divisional manoeuvres in various Macedon ian centres. The Mussulman reservv: ists at Rerat and all classes of Re-' tiiifs at Adrianople have been called out. j Two bombs were exploded in differ- 1 cut centres in Salonika. The explosions damaged buildings, hut there were no fatal results. A third bomb deposited near a mosque did not explode. There are continued -assassinations of Bulgarians in Macedonia among the Macedonian refugees. Stories of Turkish cruelties are increasing the tension in Bulgaria. FURTHER TURKISH ATROCITIES. (Received 8.5 a.in.) Athens, September 30. An Italian ship endeavoured to prevent the Turks landing troops atiSammos. A French cruiser •informed the Italian commander that Italy was not entitled to interfere at Sammos. Samians resisted the landing and killed several Turks. Turkish soldiers outraged two Samian girls after murdering the father. It is semi-officially announced that Bashitazouks outraged a mini her of women and committed other atrocities at Karadaverni, Epirus, and the inhabitants surrounding villages panicked.. The Porto agreed to punish the assailants. A HINT TO TURKEY. Berlin, September 30.. A semi-official Berlin telegram stales that the Frankfurter Zeitung hints that Turkey would do well to make peace which would enable her to proceed with Macedonian reforms. ' BULGARIA SUSPICIOUS. (Received 1, 11 30 a.m.) Sofia, September SO. It .is officially stated -tfiat owing to the considerable Turkish concentration at Adrianopo and on the frontier, Bulgaria will bo compelled to issue a mobilisation order to meet eventualities. MONTENEGRO APOLOGISES, i V , Constantinpole, September 30. Montenegro has apologised lor the attack on tno Turkish ammunition escort, and promised to punish the aggressors.
