A COUNCIL AND" ITS ENGINEER

The dispute between the Borough Engineer and the Council over drainage" and other matters which has been proceeding some time reached finality last evening when the Council decided to dispense with the services of tin engineer (W. J. O'Doimoll) and t< give him two months' salary on condition that he brought the work -n hand up to date before leaving.
