A good milker Ns wanted at once. Messrs. Morey and Son, Broadway, invite the ladies of Stratford and district to call and view their display of new season’s goods, which will be on view on Saturday next, September 28. Japanese Cotton Crepes are this season hard to g6t in some of the fast selling colours. At White’s Corner a shipment has just come' to hand, in all the best shades for this 1 season. A cow lost from Newton King’s sale yards is advertised for. A reward is offered for the return of blankets and pillows lost on Mountain Road on Monday last. On Tuesday, October Ist, Mr. Newton King will sell 600 head of mixed cattle at the Stratford yards. A lad, to assist with milking, is wanted. Those interested are reminded that tenders for the right to remove blood and offal from the Stratford abattoirs close with the Town Clerk on Monday* at noon. To-morrow Mr Newton King • will hold his usual haymarket and mart sales. A reminder is given of the sale of poultry, vegetables, furniture, etc., which takes place at Mr T. rooms to-morrow. The Inglewood Bacon-Curing Co. publish their pig receiving dates for October. A farm hand is wanted at once. A young lady wants a room, with a private family. Why give a couple of guineas more than we charge for a suit of clothes, when ours arc equally satisfactory? The Egmont Clothing Company makes chart order suits to measure, and makes them in every way equal to the custom tailors’ suits. The new patterns of suitings ( from the colonial woollen mills, are now open for your inspection.
