Four thousand people attended tin anti-militarist welcome to Serve on hi; release from prison. Pandemonium reigned, and there were free lights h the hall, chairs being thrown about and revolvers fired. Ten were injured.
CHINESE CAVALRY MUTINY
Pekin, September 26
'Two thousand cavalry mutinied aWuchang. The outbreak was sup pressed and 250 were executed.
