Lamason's Weekly Report.

Last Saturday I held my usual weekly gale, when a very good entry of different lines cames to hand. I quote as follows:—Hens 2s to 2s 6d,

turkeys (small) 5s to 6s 6d; cauliflowers 3s 8d to 5s 3d doz, carrots 2sjkjf sack, chaff 4s bale, furniture and stK&tes realised exceptionally good prices. i On Thursday, September 19fch, I conducted a clearing sale, on behalf of. Mr T. Law son, at his res ; dent in Julie-t street south. Every thing brought good prices to the satisfaction of my client, and as we are making a speciality of clearing sales, I trust we will have the support of the public.

One hundred and four riders smarted in the road race Timaru-to-Christ-church to-day. The weather was very fine, and with'a fifteen-knot southerly breezn blowing, the roads were in solendid order. Progress reports show that the riders were making fast time. —P;A.' wiro/
