Mr Newton King’s Stratford Weekly Report. At the Haymarket on Saturday last pigs wore penned in moderate numbers, there was a good demand for all classes, all lines being clearde at advanced rates . I quite woanors 16s to 24s 6d, small stores 25s to 28s 6d, medium do. 29s 6d to 365, calves from 2s to 265, plough £6 10s. At the Mart: Poultry, hens Is 9d, roosters 2s 3d to 2s 9d, geese 4s 3d, potatoes 11s 6d cwt., seed potatoes, sales during the week as follows: Up-to-date 8s to 9s 6d, Early Hose 15s, Beauty of Hebron 12s 6d to 14s, White Elephant 9s to 14s, White Rock 15s, Gamekeeper 12s 6d, all at per cwt. Quantity furniture and sundries soiling at prices in favour of buyers. The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. and Reduced, have received the following cablegram from their London' house, under date 20th instant:—“Frozen Meat: The market is easier for mutton, slightly weaker for beef, and the enquiry ior lamb is limited.’
