ANTI-CAMPAIGN IN ENGLAND TRUTH AT A DISCOUNT.

London, September 21. The "Manchester Guardian" and "Daily News" are assisting the Peace Society in an elaborate campaign against the Defence Acts oT Australia and New Zealand. Letters describe failures to attend drill and the prosecutions of defaulters. A correspondent of the "Guardian" states that the whole story of the New Zealand Act is a squalid record, and urges the Liberals of England to take up the cause of the unfortunate children, who, being voteless, are subjected to outrageous tyranny.
