Astley Belfast .hanked a monoplane too sharply and fell 150 feet into an enclosure where there were 30,000 spectators. Ho was terribly injured and died under an operation. His wife was meanwhile watching the Hying at Hendon and receiving congratulations. BIPLANE OVERTURNS. Lieutenants aboard the Albatross biplane were making a flight in a -heavy wind when a defect- in steering gear caused the aeroplane to reel. One officer was thrown out, falling 500 feet, and the fall destroyed the balance of the machine which overturned and crashed to earth. NO AIR CRAFT IN AVAR. Berne, September 22. The Congress at Geneva by an overwhelming majority adopted Beernaert',? resolution proclaiming the use of'air, craft in war, especially .throwing ex-; plosives. Baron Dcstournelle I)e Con- 1 stnnt opposed the resolution, but the I British representative supported it.
