MANAWATU METROPOLITAN SHOW.
The twenty-seventh of flip famous Shows for which Palmerston .North has become noted is scheduled for October 36th and 31st, and November Ist next. “This year’s fixture is to bo no laggard in rank of importance with former shows, and, to judge from present indications,” says our correspondent, “is to bo something quite eclipsing pro--1 vio'us records, iui unusual amount ‘oi ! interest is hoing displayed all over the I country, particularly in the north, 1 )■>■■■■ in whence n large number of en--1 tides arc anticipated, the Minister oi i it ail ways having granted a fast show i stock special from Auckland and the !
