THE NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. (Per Press Association.') Wellington, September 17. The New Zealand championship meeting was continued to-day. During the night a sharp thunderstorm was experienced, heavy rain falling. The links wore saturated, and pools of water lay about. A slight wind in rie early morning turned into a gale, w!f eh lessened as the day worn on. The Cliristchurch crack, 15. B. Wood, continued to show good form, but had luck lost him the fourth roi ml. He won he same event in Dunedin in 1908, anl :n Auckland in 1909. Wood cimo second, and Butters third. INTER-CLUB MATCH. The annual match for the irit". - - club Challenge Vase, presented by Mr E. IX.O'Rorke (which is won by the best aggregate score of each team in the second qualifying round of the am iteur championship) gave rise it) a close finish, Cliristchurch defeating Auckland by a single, point. Napier was third, and Wellington fourth.
