A WOMAN’S DEATH. (Per Press Association.) Dunedin, September 11. Mrs Lathers, a middle-aged woman residing in Forth street, Roslyn, was at the Waikari polling booth to-day. and was driven home in a motor car apparently quite well. Soon afterwards, however, she suddenly expired She. had not been attended by a doctor for a considerable time, and the cause of death is at present unknown. DEATH TINDER ANAESTHKTIC, Christchurch, September 11. Lorino Orange, 15 years old, died at the Hospital to-day while, nnderging an operation under an anaesthetic lot I the removal of adenoids and tonsils | After medical evidence the Coroner 1 recorded a verdict that deceased had j died as a result of an incompetent j aoritic valve and genual lymphatic conditions. One medical witness stated that the circumstances were important to doctors, as lymphatic conditions of the heart were bcng investigated in England with a view to ascertaining the cause. So far only about sixty j eases of death duo to lymphatic con-] ditions of the heart had been recorded. 1
