MR ROOSEVELT OPTIMISTIC

Mr Roosevelt claims that the result of cho Maine elections is a victory foi the Progressives. The new Governor is really an adherent of Roosevelt’s party. It was this understanding that led Roosevelt not to contest the elections against the regular Republican, who also claimed the Governor as an adherent.
