A crisis has arisen in the affairs o! the Paten Freezing Company, i r would appear, judging from the lengthy meeting held on Tuesday to discuss matters. The following motion was eventually carried: “That the meeting authorise the directors to increase the capital of the company by the issue of preferential shares, or by bonds, or bv any other method they may think fit, and if, after consultation with the following committee of shareholders—namelv, Messrs. Dickie. Death, Willis, 0. Hawken, C. Hawken, A. Though impossible of detection when the cheese was first made, the specks of rust subsequently caused largo discoloured patches, which, though not Injurious to health, effectually ruined the sale of the cheese so affected.
