ball bit the wicket. Barrett did some fine driving, hitting eight fours, and played a chanceless innings. Fifty appeared in 55 minutes, and the century in 100 minutes. Simms was splendid all round, Belt did brilliant diiving, making a sixer and seven fours. l.he century appeared in 160 minutes.
