WEDDING BELLS.
HOPPER—SELLMAN
An interesting and attractive wedding was solemnised on Wednesday last, when Mr. Louis Lanfranc Hopper and Miss Edith Ellen Sellman, both of London, were united in the bonds of holy matrimony. The ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. B. Meison, was witnessed by a goodly number of friends in the house of Mr. J. Wade, Regan Street, Stratford. The bride, who was given away by Mr Len Rogers, was handsomely gowned in cream serge, and wore the customary bridal veil. She carried a beauiful bouquet of clematis and violets. The bridesmaid, Miss Montrose Wade, Was prettily attired in white silk muslin, and carried a bouquet of clematis. She attended to her duties as maid with admirable grace and taste. Miss Jean Rogers as flower girl looked sweet in her white silk muslin, and carrying a little basket of fragrant flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. J. Wade, jun., who proved an excellent best man. The groom's sift to the bride was a gold brooch, and to the maid a pretty pendant and chain. The bride travelled in a green costume with a hat to match. At the conclusion of the ceremony the party sat down to a tasty and well arranged breakfast, where the usual toasts were enthusiastically honoured, speeches being made by the Rev. B. Met: on, Mr L. Hopper, Mr. Beale, and Mrs. J. Wade. The bridal mir left by the afternoon train for Waitara, en route to Tlruti, where Mr. Hopper intends to follow farming pursuits. Many lovely presents and hearty wishes, testify to the large circle of friends who hold Mr. and Mrs. Hopper in high esteem.
