N.S.W. DEMAND REFUSED.
Sydney, September 5. (Received 10.55 a.m.) The Commonwealth have rejected the terms offered by N.S.W. regarding the demand for the Sydney residence. New South Wales refuses to modify the demands and negotiations have ended. Air Denman shortly quits the State Government residence and thereupon they will take possession and throw the grounds open to the public. They will decide subsequently as to how they will utilise the residence.
