SOCIALISTS PROTEST

Berlin, September One hundred thousand meetings organised by the Social-De-mocratic Party, and protested against tne increase in tne cost of living. they demanded the abolition of food taxes, the removal of indirect food duties, cue opening cf the frontiers to foreign cattle and meat, and the immediate convocation of the Reichstag to accomplish these demands.
