BRITAIN AND TIBET.
NEWSPAPER OPINION. (Received 9 a.in.) London, September 3. The Chronicle accuses the Government of seeking to seize Thibet. Other radical newspapers arc very outspoken on similar lines. THE ARTFUL CHINEE. (Received 4, 11.20 a.m.) London, September 3. Officials in Darjeeling stopped a pseudo-Chinese mission which were believed to bo disguised as Mongolians, and seeking a Tibetan alliance with Mongolia.
