DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE

Dunedin, September 2

A joung man named Sweete, an electrician, was being taken into tihie hospital at 3.45 this afternoon, when he suddenly expired at the door. The cause of death was heart failure. DROWNING FATALITY. Grcymouth, September 2. About seven o'clock to-night Thou. B. Williams, cook and steward on the Opouri, now in port, slipped n the gangway wihile going aboard, and fell into the river and was drowned. The police are dragging for the body, which has not yet been recovered.
