CHEESE TS IT. (Per Press '■Association.) Dunedin, September 3. Mr. Scott, secretary cf the South Island Dairv Association, has received a cable message from London stating that Canadian cheese of September make is now 60s 6d. Short sellers of New Zealand have mostly retirecjjjom the market, the remainder asking 675. Mr Scott says that this advance m prices is already reflected here, as several bnvers now offer more than 6|d t'.0.1). He considers the prospects excellent for a high price in Great Britain during the coming season.
