The match between Australia and Kent was drawn, the latter declaring its innings closed with six wickets down for 170. Ike weather was fine, and the attendance numbered 1000. The wicket at the start was sticky, and after lunch difficult. Woolley was in for 110 minutes, and showed lively and masterly driving. He hit a six and six fours. He gave a chance at 51 of being caught off Emery. Whitty. by capturing Day, bagged his hundredth wicket. Carr had a day out with the Australians. Going on wihen the second wicket was down, he finished with the fine average of 7 for 46. (Macartney and Bards! ey showed good form, and Minnctt and Whitty wore lively. The last wie-' ket added 22 runs. The others made a poor showing.
