WEDDING BELLS.
ALDRIDGE—BEVINS. A ouiet wedding took place at the bride's parents' residence, East Bead, on Thursday last, when Lelm May. eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bevins, was united m the bonds of matrimony to Martin J. A.ldridge. *eeond son of Mr. and Mrs R. 1 . Aldridge, of Pembroke Road. Stratford The bride, who was given awa\ by her father, was attired in a white embroidered robe and wore- a veil and orange blossoms, and carried a beau tiful bouquet. Misses Haidee and Daisy Bevins acted as bridesmaids, and wore white dresses, and also carried shower bouquets. Mr. Victor Bevim* acted as groomsman. The bridgeoroom's present to the bride was a gold watch and chair,, and to the bridesmaids gold brooches. I lie Rev. A Reader was the officiating clergyman. Mr. and Mrs. Aldridge left foi Auckland by the mail train, where the honevmoon'is to be spent, the bride : travelling dress being a navy blu. tailor-made costume with a large black picture bat. The presents received were both numerous and costly.
