YOUNG MAN'S SUICIDE. (Per Progs AsEOciaticn,) Invercargili, May 27. Mungo Watson, aged 22, a resident of Wyndham, shot himself this morning at Deschler's Hotel. He fired a revolver in his mouth, the bullet lodging in the brain. Death was instantaneous. Deceased had been keeping company with a girl in the hotel, and left a .note intimating his intention. it concluded "God bless Ethel." A BODY FOUND. Dargaville, May 27. The body of William Wesphal, whose empt'v boat was found down the river on the 14th inst., was recovered on Friday. KILLED BY A TRUCK. Rotorua, May 27. James Purcell, a married man, about 45 years old, was killed at Steel's mill, Mamaku, this morning. He put a brake on a truck too suddenly, causing it to capsize, pinning him underneath.
