THE OLYMPIC GAMES. London, May 26. Great Britain has selected Atkinson, the New Zealand breast stroke swimmer, and Stewart, of Tasmania, for the hundred metres, two hundred metres, and the relay race, at the Olympic Games. WELL!NGTON FOOTBALL. Wellington. May 26. There was splendid weather for outdoor sports yesterday. The senior Rugby games resulted as follows: Oriental heal Athletic by I points to nil, I'etone beat Victoria College by M points to nil. Melrose beat St. James by 9 points to 3, Wellington beat Southern by 5 points to 3. WANGANUI v. TABANAKI. Wanganui, May 26. The following have been selected to represent Wanganui agaiusi Taranaki on June 3rd at Wanganui:—Courts, I, Meuli, Tilyard, Anderson, Collier, V. Meuli, Atkins, W.
