fPcr Press. Association.) Groymouth, May 21. Margaret Cassidy, a young married woman residing near Paroa, was found last night dead, by falling into a fireplace on Sunday night in a fainting fit. Her husband had been away since February. Two children, aged six and two years, were found in bed. Wellington, May 20.
The delegates representing the conference of Education Boards waited on the -Minister for Education to-day and placed before him the resolutions passed by the conference. Mr Hanan said a statement would be made by the Minister in charge of the Local Government Bill to the effect that an .inquiry was about to he set up dealing with the cost of education, both prim-
ary and manual qud technical. Hr hoped that the great question of national education would always be kepi above party or faction.
