AN EARLY MORNING VISIT BY A BURGLAR.
A PLUCKY SERVANT.

Early this morning Gleeson, manservant at Mrs Burdekin’s house, Macquarrie Street, discovered a masked and armed man on the premises. Despite a threat to shoot he closed with the intruder. In the struggle the burglar’s revolver went off, narrowly missing Gleeson. The burglar escaped.
