Fry madd’JCvo dangerous strokes in his first over 2 Douglas was twice nearly caught by rising balls. Fry succumbed to a low ball fast off the pitch. Douglas was taken at second slip. 2 for 85.
The ball was kicking occasionally
Seventy appeared after an hour's play, and the century after 100 minutes.
Warner was smartly caught by Minnett at third man, from a rising ball, olf the shoulder of his bat.
Hazlitt replaced Emery after luncheon.
Hearne failed to stop one of Kel--Icway's spooners, and his middle stump was removed by the same bowler.—
Perrin was twenty minutes in making a single. He over-hit a half volley of Hazlitt's.
Kelleway bagged Burns with a similar contribution.—7 for 152.
