USING THE ATMOSPHERI
London, May 18. Sir William Ramsay, K.C.8., F.R.S., Professor of Chemistry at the University College, London, speaking at the British Science Guild, urged, in the interest of national defence, the manufacturing of nitre from the atmosphere, instead of relying on Chilian and Peruvian supplies, which an enemy would probably capture.
