Upwards of fifty guests were present at the wedding of Albert, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Hassail, of Stratford, Li) Irene, second daughter of Mrs. .1. Walters, Jackson Street, IVtone, which took place at the residence', of tiio bride’s mother on April 15th. Ihe bride, who was given away by her mother, looked well in a graceful dress of embroidered Anglaise lawn, with the orthodox wreath and veil, carrying a pretty shower bouquet composed o! cream roses and maiden-hair fern. Miss 1). Walters, sister ol the bride, was the attendant maid, and wore dainty white muslin, with \ aleucien- )!<••?. insertion, and black satin hat, carried a boiKiiiet of tastefully arranged cactus dahlias.. The Ucv. Maples was the officiating clergyman, the groom being attended by Mr. V\ . Irons, as bi'st man, and Mr. Casey Lambert as groomsman. At the conclusion of the ceremony the guests partook of breakfast, the usual toasts being honoured and responded Lo by Ucv. Maples, Messrs. Irons, sen., T. Fox, J. MeLaeldan, Casey Lambert, and W. irons. Marly in ilie forenoon the hnppv couple left by motor, in order to ea fell the Main Trunk express, amid hearty good wishes. Mrs. .I!assail’ s travelling dress was a grey and white tailor-made costume, with black heavci hat ; she also wore a set of fox furs, the gilt of her mother.
