Smallwood, tlio Daily Chronicle’s correspondent, was fatally shot in an ambush during reconnoitring operations outside Derma. The Italians have occupied the islands of Piscopa, Niscra, Kalismo, Deros and Patinos. They captured the Turkish authorities and Government officials. A GATHERING OF THE CLANS. Constantinople, May 14. The Mirdites are assembling in response to a call to arms. Their numbers are daily increasing. They are demanding the same concessions as were accorded the Malissori in 1911.
