Mr. Home, head of a leading Vancouver firm of shipping agents, is visiting Sydney. Interviewed, he said Canada wants Australasian produce, w aether it comes from Australia or New Zealand. Australia was undoubtedly losing Canadian trade simply because New Zealand was subsidising Canadian steamers and giving Canadian products preference.
