A MOTOR ACCIDENT.

DROP OVER A DANK. (Per Press Association.) Carterton, May 11. A serious accident occurred last night at 11.45 o'clock. Mi-. O. A. Cadwalluder was returning to Carterton from Martiuborough in his car, when ho drove over the north approach to the Plack Bridge, a drop of about ten feet. The car overturned and pinned him underneath. It flung a passenger named A. D. Kennedy clear. Simultaneously the. ear burst into flames, which quickly enveloped Cadwallader. Anncsley extricated him, and succeeded in subduing the flames. Cadwallader was taken to the Daleton private hospital. He was badly burned all over, his right arms and two legs being the worst. The burns, though serious, are not considered dangerous. The car is a complete wreck, only the steel frame and the engine remaining. The car was only lately purchased.
