PROPOSED LOAN PROPOSALS.

To the Editor Stratford “Post.”)

Sir, —I was highly amused on reading “M Quad's” letter in yoUr esteemed journal of yesterday. He complains that the south part of the borough is sadly neglected with regard to the proposed expenditure of loan moneys. 1 think, sir, he could not have'read the Mayor’s scheme, correctly, or, if he did read it, he did not understand it, hence his delusion, i may say for “M Quad’s” benefit that the scheme provides for a sum of some £SOO for improvements in the so-called “neglected south,” which, I think, is quite an enormous sum, when it is considered that the population of the south is only about 10 per cent, of the borough. I would suggest that the “neglected south” raise a loan to be spent solely in that part of the borough. I would remind “M Quad” to vote only for men who will work for his particular part of the Borough, as at present there is only one' (Cr. Lawson) who does this.—l am, etc., „ • ■ VOTER. Stratford, May 9, 1912.
