SUGGESTIONS FOR VARIOUS UNDERTAKINGS. MAYOR'S LOAN SCHEME. At the special meeting of the Borough Council -held loot evening, the Mnvor (Mr. W. P. Kirkwood) gave notice of motion to move as follows: 1. That a special meeting of the Council be held on Wednesday, May 15th, tp consider the following resolutions : . ' 2. That a report with recommendation bo secured from a competent engineer, on the conditions of the bridge in Broadway, and that a committee, consisting of the mover and Councillors bo empowered to employ an engineer to draw up the report.
