THE MESSING DREDGE.

HELD TO HAVE SUNK, (Por Press Association ) Auckland, May G. The Encounter and Pioneer have returned from an unsuccessful search for the missing dredge Manchester. They covered routes between Wellington and Syney and North Cape and Sydney. The commander of the Encounter is of opinion that the Manchester sank. One of the Pioneer’s crew is suffering from mumps but pratique was granted after inspection by the Health Officer.
