AUSTRALIAN ELECTIONS.
HARE SYSTEM OF VOTING IN TASMANIA. RETURNS COME SLOWLY. (Received 2, 8.50 a.m.) Hobart, May 2. The Hare system of voting is being used at the election. The returns are slow, only one electorate being complete, The Premier, Speaker and Leader of the Opposition have been definitely elected.
