TENNIS DOUBLE CHAMPIONS. London, April 30. Wilding and Doust heat Pockley and Kidson in the doubles championship, 7—5, 6—3, 6—2. They will meet Gohert and Ritchie, the present holders of the championship, in the final. CHAMPION'S EXPEXSES. Wellington, April 30. The executive of the New ■ Zealand Amateur Swimming Association has resolved to issue subscription lists to every swimming club affiliated to the centre, asking for shilling subscriptions from every member to defray the cost of the champion's visit to Stockholm. It is hoped to raise a substantial amount, as the champion is now on his way to England. This centre has voted £2 towards this movement. TRIANGULAR CRICKET. (Received 1, 9.20 a.m.) London, April 30. The Australian and South African cricketers are steadily practising at Lords on hard and fast wickets. The critics' first impressions of the newcomers arc favourable.
