Puncture and sundries met with good competition. Fruit—About 300 cases came to band during the week; prices ruling were somewhat easier, desert apples 2s 9d to 6s Gd, cooking apples) 2s to Is 9d, desert pears 3s Gd to 5s 9dj cooking pears 2s to 2s 9d, quinces 3s' Gd to 4s Gd, lemons 3s 9d according to size of case and quality.
