THE SAILORS' STRIKE. London, April 29. The granting of bonuses for the present voyage has temporarily settled the sailors’ strike. SEAMEN’S DEMANDS. (Received 30, 9.55 a.m.) London, April 29. A meeting of the local seamen and firemen at Liverpool passed resolutions that they would not work a ship carrying non-unionists or Chinese, nor would they sign on unless a union official inspects the lifeboats.
