| Newton King's Weekly Report. On Friday 19th there was a good attendance for Messrs iv night and Kirkham’s clearing sale. 'lac sheep were a good lot, and competition was brisk for nearly every bnc, prices oa the whole showing an improvement ca late rates. Prices realised were:— For Mr P. Knight’s stock: Lamb'S, Os bd; cull lambs, 3s lei; 2 and l-toota ewes, 11s Od; 0 and l.f.ni. ewes, lbs Id; mixed ewes and wethers, Gs 2d; 2 and -(-tooth'wethers, 12s (id. Sir A. J. Kirkham’s stock: 1 and O-toot.a ewes and rams, Its 7d; 2-tootn ewes, 12s lid; 2-tootli wethers, 13s; lambs, 7s 3d; cull lambs, 2s 2d; mixed ewes, Gs; Cortland waggon, £l6 os. At Kapnnga, on the same day, too yards were again well filled wiiji cattle, mostly cows and weaners. Toe demand throughout was good. Matthews and Bennett’s Weekly Report.

Matthews and Bennett reports that there was a fair yarding of cattle in their Inglewood yards on Wednesday last, and most lots changed hands as follows:—Calves made from £1 2s to £1 10s; store cows, £2 5s to £3 ICs; in calf heifers, £-3 15s to £4 12s Gd ; bulls, £2 7s 6d to £5 Is; lambs, 7s 2d. We also report having sold privately, in cal 1 ' heifers, £6 10s to £7 10s; 15 to 20-months heifers, £3 2s to £3 7s 6d; 2-year steers, £3 5s to £3 7s 6d.

Wc have several enquiries for dairyherds and good, in calf heifers. Anyone wanting to sell should lot us know.
