. PRAISE FOR HOBBS. (Received 25, 10.20 a.m.) Loudon, April 24. The Mayor of Cambridge presided at a banquet to Hobbs. Warner sent a letter in which ho said Hobbs was one of the greatest batsmen and finest cover points the world had ever seen. ENGLISH FOOTBALL CUP. (Received 25, 10.20 a.m.) London, April 21. The English cup final re-play resulted in a win for Barnsley against West Bromwich by one goal to nil.
