Three thousand are attending the Irish National Convention, including delegates from 900 branches of the Irian League, 300 Ancient Hibernians, and 500 priests. Mr. Redmond declared that the passionate desire to do justice to tlffi Irish minority won his approval. The principle -of jv.nominated Senate, he hoped, would include representatives of science and literature'. Mr. Gladstone had a great reception at'the conference. It was decied to leave the amendment of the Bill in the hands ofi a party of three, 'BILL’S SECOND READING. (Received 25, 10.5 a.m.) ■ London, April 21. Mr. Lloyd-George has announced that the second 'reading of the Homo Rule Bill will commence on Tuesday, and extend over six Parliamentary days. ... The Welsh Disestabl ahment Bill will he read a second time on May 30th.
