fPer Press Association.) Wellington, April 23. In the Appeal Court to-day the hearing of the case Marconi Wireless Company v. the King is proceeding. It is tint an episode of a world-wide dispute between the Marconi Co. and the owners of the Telefunken system as to the validity of the respective patents. The New Zealand Government had entered into a contract with the Australian "Wireless Ltd. for the establishment of stations workable under the Telefunken system. The Marconi Co. have brought a petition of right, alleging actual and threatened infringement of patents and claiming damages, relief and an injunction. This also affects the wireless station already in operation at the Post Office, Wellington. The questions of law to lie argued are as to whether there is
a cause of action ami whether the Court lias jurisdiction. Tim KolicitorCcncrai appears for the Crown and Mr Hell, K.C., Mr Skcrrett, K.C., and Mr Meek for the Marconi Co.
