(Received 23, 11.20 a.m.) Sydney, April 23. Considerable damage resulted from yesterday’s storm. A factory hi course of construction was blown down, the damage done being £ISOO. Several buildings wore unroofed and trams were derailed. A special session of the Congrtgational Union adopted a minority report by a committee appointed to consider the union of churches. Tlie report urges union, with the retention of the basic principles of Congregationalism, Methodism, and Presbyterianism.
