HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. His Majesty’s gave two poriorm- ( i ances on Saturday, the excellent proI gramme very much enjoyed by 1 the audience. To-night interest cen--1 tres round the ‘great drama “The i Bells.” which will lie screened in the i usually effective manner. Air. Alfred •i Booth man, the talented elocutionist, , I will describe the pictures as_ they pass j before the audience. The realism of the pictures is enhanced by mechanical effects, illustrating the hells, and the storm. The drama itself is a most stirring one, and t is thought by numerous playgoers to have been Sir Henry Irving’s masterpiece. Some c the other films in be l shown this evening are also likely to evoke keen interest, “A Central American Romanes” portraying a nautical drama r great interest. “Andalusian Dances-, being a charming film, and numerous others of a high standard of merit. CORONATION RINK. The patrons of the Coronation Rink continue to speed very enjoyable evenings,' the floor being under the able management of Mr. G. Gould. Potato races, are hold every evening, and the egg-ind-spoou events for ladies afford great amusement. The floor of the Coronation Rink is now being' Urd •out specially for hockey matches, which it is intended to play under a new set of rules. The management will hold a children’s carnival in about three weeks from present date.
