POULTRY SHOW.
Poultrymen and farmers are advised to make early application for schedules. Already, so numerous have been the requests for schedules that those who need them must apply at once. Farmers are deeply interested in tlie root crop exhibition. Frizes in this section consist of sacks of manure, “Now Zealand Fanner,” one year, 3 separate donations of farm seed from O’Leary and Downs, Laird and Sons,- and Arthur Yates, as well as prize money. To the baby show has been added, at special request, a section for twins. A very handsome prize will be awarded this section, also a special well worth winning is to be awarded the champion baby of the show. Those desiring to become members of the Society can do so by taking a member’s ticket at 2s Gd per year. This admits to the show both days, but is not transferrablo. Further details can be had from Mr C. Downey, the Society’s secretary.
