The crime wave continues. Two women were held up by a masked man at Rockvale. Many instances of audacious bag and purse snatchiugs and housebreaking are reported. (Received 19, 10.40 a.m.) Portli, April 19.
The third political libel action against the Kalgoorlie Miner, arising out of an article entitled “Three Rotten Sticks,” referring to three Ministers, lias concluded. Mr Connolloy, ex-Colonial Secretary, was awarded £250.
