SHORTAGE OF IRON

The effects of the British icoal strike are being felt in Sydney. Fifty boiler-makers wore dismissed from the Government dockyards owing to the absence of sufficient iron of the character required.
Work lias been resumed at the Lithgow blast furnaces.
