Seifert. . n Hawera, April 1/. __ Messrs. A. W. Gillies and L. K. Whittington have been nominated for the Mayoralty. Mr. Whittington is the present Mayor. Wellington, April 17. The Appeal Court reserved judgment in the appeal of Schmidt and Bellshaw v. Greenwood. Napier, Apr:! 17. Mr. J. V. Brown, M.P., has been elected unopposed for his sixtii term as Mayor of Napier. Carterton, April 1/. Mr Frank A. Feist has been re-elect-ed unopposed for the Mayoralty.
